My photography style can be described as documentary or candid.
I offer a wide range of different photo services including events, family, graduation, pets, corporate, product, fashion, headshots, food, social media, and everything in-between!
All photos are returned digitally and edited.
As for Floral Design, I love using local flowers. My style is wild and free. Most of my greens and flowers are sourced locally from my yard or farms. When needed, per request of a client, I will source more exotic flowers elsewhere.
All of my floral arrangements are done without floral foam. I use strictly eco-friendly armatures such as flower frogs, chicken wire, branches, moss, and stones. I am currently doing small events such as birthday parties, baby showers, dinner parties, etc. Any small event where you'd need flowers!
I offer bouquets (spirals and bundles), corsages, boutonnieres, flower crowns, vase arrangements (Including bud vases), small centerpieces (Ikebana style), and lei.
I take a personalized approach to every client, taking the time to understand their vision and needs. My goal is to create a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere that allows me to capture authentic and memorable moments with an artistic eye.
Through photography and floral design, I want to make an impact, and make your moments special, however big or small they may be.
My name is Annalee Hull, and I am a certified Professional Photographer and Floral Designer.
I have always loved creating and trying new things. And since I was homeschooled, I had the freedom to learn what I wanted and really dive into my interests.
When I was just 8 years old, I started selling my creations at local farmers markets and doing craft shows for fun. I loved being able to create art and share it with other people.
As time went on, I expanded my products and realized this was something I wanted to do long term. I wanted to start my own business. I had many businesses from the age of 10-20, with my family and friends helping me with an online store, and at my markets and craft fairs while I was too young to do so by myself.
At 14 I discovered my love for photography when I borrowed my mother's camera to take photos around our farm. I quickly decided that photography was what I wanted to do.
I was a very shy kid, and through photography I was able to express myself through my photos. As I took photos and began to share them, I got good feedback, and I started to get more and more recognition.
I quickly grew a large following online and became very passionate and driven. I had a job interview for my first job right as I turned 15.
I remember coming home from my interview and telling my parents that I didn't want to waste my time and I wanted to pursue photography full time, and they supported me every step of the way. I used my mother's camera to practice, and by 16 I had my own camera. I decided it was time to put myself put there. I practiced on friends, and I took photos everywhere I went. I even got the opportunity to travel and take photos of a celebrity from my favorite TV show.
I graduated high school early and immediately enrolled into the New York Institute of Photography, where I graduated with my certification in Professional Photography in just 13 months.
When covid started in 2020, I was 16 years old. I was more than ready, and I wanted so badly to work professionally, but because of the lockdown I was afraid I would have to put my dreams on hold. I wanted to be published, so, I emailed everywhere I could, trying to find work.
Shortly into searching I got an interview with the Florida Weekly Publications. I did a test shoot, they loved my work, and I got the job in that same week. I have been happily working with them since, building connections and valuable experience in a field where everyone was decades older than me. I felt intimidated in this big adult job at only 16 years old, but I quickly adapted and thrived.
I got the opportunity to attend many large and important events and take photos beside people who had decades of experience.
With Florida Weekly, I have been published in the Ave Maria Sun, Florida Weekly (Fort Myers), Wellington Park, and the Babcock Ranch Telegraph, where I can be seen on the cover of many publications.
Through the years I have worked with Toti Media, where I was published in the Times of the Island magazine, and have been an assistant for other photographers to gain as much experience as I can. I can also be seen in many online publications and teen magazines. In addition to expanding my knowledge of photography, I also enrolled in every art class they provided at FSW, Florida Southwestern State College, where I gained lots of valuable connections as well as a lifelong best friend.
While working with Florida Weekly and doing my own photography on the side, I have also continued to do weekly farmers markets, craft shows and other events where I can still sell my photography prints, paintings, jewelry, handmade clothing, and other crafts.
Being able to share my art with strangers and knowing that they're purchasing my photography/paintings and framing them in their home or giving them as gifts allows me to keep doing what I do with such passion.
In addition to selling my items in person, I had an online store from 2021-2024 where I had a very successful global jewelry brand.
In mid 2024, I discovered my love for Floral Design. I had the opportunity to work at a local florist shop with a very talented and experienced floral designer, who opened up a whole new world to me. I even had the opportunity to attend a jenny T Floristry workshop in FT Lauderdale. After working at the shop for just a few months, I decided to enroll into the New York Institute of Art and Design to get my certification in Floral Design, Which I completed in just a few short months. Since working with her, I have designed dozens of weddings and have had so many hands-on learning experiences, learning to make everything from corsages to arches. Through this opportunity to shadow a professional, I can now confidently design and arrange my own pieces, for my own use for photoshoots, or for clients.
I am always striving to learn and experience more, and I am so excited for what my future has in store!
